The Congenital and Perinatal Infections Consortium (CPIC) awarded its fifth CPIC Pilot Project to Megan Pesch, MD, MS.
Dr. Pesch is an assistant professor of developmental and behavioral pediatrics at the University of Michigan. Her project, “Assessing the long-term harms and benefits of newborn congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV) screening”, will examine differences in developmental, behavioral, and relational outcomes in newborn vs. late-diagnosed children with cCMV.
